Weather Policy

Some work can't be rushed in bad conditions. Here's how we handle weather.

Mobile detailing is weather-aware. Most services run fine in light conditions, but coatings and paint correction need controlled conditions to bond and cure correctly. This is when we'll proceed and when we'll rebook.

Washes & standard detailing

Light rain is no problem — the car gets cleaner. We won't run a full detail in heavy rain or thunderstorms because products don't dwell or rinse properly. If your spot has covered parking (garage, deck, carport), weather rarely matters.

Ceramic coating & paint correction

These need a controlled environment. We install coatings in a covered, dust-controlled space (your garage or our bay) at the right temperature and humidity. We will not apply a ceramic coating outdoors in rain, snow, or extreme temperatures — a compromised cure means a compromised coating, and we won't risk your warranty.

Temperature thresholds

  • Below ~35°F: we'll discuss rescheduling outdoor work — chemicals don't perform and door seals can freeze. Indoor/garage jobs proceed.
  • Coating cure: requires moderate temperature and controlled humidity. We schedule coating installs around the right conditions or perform them in a covered space.

If weather forces a reschedule

We watch the forecast and reach out as early as possible — usually the day before — if weather threatens your appointment. There's no fee for a weather reschedule; we move you to the next available slot. See our cancellation & rescheduling policy for the full rules.

Have covered parking?

Tell us at booking. A garage, parking deck, or carport means weather almost never affects your appointment — we can work through most conditions in a covered space.
