Xentra Auto brings full-service mobile detailing to St. George — we come to you, so there’s no shop drop-off and no waiting room. In St. George the parking is real driveways and garages — the easy part of our job here, and your car wears every bit of it. We bring the shop to your block off Bay Street instead of making you chase one down.
With ferry traffic below and the expressway above, brake dust and road grime are daily facts in St. George — and hillside runoff carries both downhill into whatever is parked at the bottom. It bonds, and a wash will not lift it.
The whole menu is available here, from a quick exterior to a full ceramic install. Most bookings are owners parked on a slope who want the car dealt with without moving it anywhere.
St. George has its own way of beating up a car. We've seen all of it.
Salt applied uphill runs down and collects against whatever is parked on the low side. Rockers and arches take it first, every winter.
St. George's shoreline exposure means salt-laden air that accelerates paint oxidation and surface rust. A ceramic coat is the real defense.
Pickups and full-size SUVs are the norm up here, which means more surface to protect and considerably more underbody exposed to runoff.
Real products, real techniques — and the mix that actually comes up around here.
What we actually do in St. George is shaped by what's parked here and what the street does to it. The SIE and West Shore near St. George get heavily salted. Salt spray bonds to paint and undercarriage — winter decon and an undercarriage rinse handle it.
Full detail on the trucks and larger SUVs parked around Bay Street takes longer — more surface, bigger cabins, and load areas that need treating properly rather than vacuuming.
Undercarriage and salt removal is a genuine one here. Grit and brine run downhill and collect in the wells, and we flush them out before they start on the brake lines.
Ceramic coating on a daily-driven truck or SUV up here means hillside grit rinses off instead of bonding, and the wash routine gets considerably shorter.
The full menu — all 27 services — is available curbside or in your garage near Bay Street.
Ferry commuting and hillside parking define the mix around St. George.
Sedans and small crossovers left on the hill all day. Hill runoff and brine collect against them long before the paint shows anything.
F-150s, Transits and Sprinters serving the terminal area. Undercarriage, arches and load areas get the attention here.
Tahoes and Expeditions parked on the slope overnight. More surface to keep on top of, and more underbody exposed to runoff.
St. George clients work with IDA Certified, Gtechniq Accredited, and Gyeon Certified techs. Standard of care doesn't change with the vehicle.
St George is the island's commuter hub, so the cars here do station runs to the ferry, sit on hill streets and take harbour damp overnight. Interiors show it in the carpets and the air. We reset the cabin properly: every zone vacuumed, carpets and mats hot-water extracted, dash and vents steamed, leather cleaned and conditioned, then dried out fully.
Harbour salt comes in off the Upper Bay and the terminal traffic adds brake dust, while the hill streets mean brine runs down and pools against parked cars all winter. We hand-wash two-bucket, deep-clean wheels and rockers, run an iron decontamination, then seal the paint so salt and iron release with a normal wash.
Ferry commuting means walking to the terminal in all weather and bringing it back into the car, and hill brine goes straight into the carpet backing. We hot-water extract carpets, floor mats and cloth upholstery to pull the salt out properly, pre-treat and multi-pass set-in stains, then dry it so nothing stays damp.
Harbour air keeps St George cars damp and salty for far longer than inland cars, and many park on the street with nothing overhead. A coating gives salt a hard hydrophobic surface to sit on so a wash actually removes it rather than smearing it. We correct the paint first, install it properly and register the warranty in your name.
The St George picture is salt etching low on the doors and rockers from hill runoff, early oxidation from harbour air, and terminal-traffic iron dulling the finish. We decontaminate first, inspect under LED, take a test spot, then polish in measured stages to bring genuine depth back.
Commuter cars parked on hill streets need frequent washing to keep brine from settling, and there is nowhere convenient nearby to do it safely. We come to your block with our own water and power — two-bucket method, pH-neutral soap, wheels and rockers given real attention, glass left streak-free.
Harbour damp keeps interiors from drying, which turns ordinary spills and wet coats into a persistent mildew smell over a winter of commuting. We extract the source out of the carpets and upholstery first, then run ozone or enzyme treatment to neutralise mildew, pet, smoke and food odours properly.
Salt air and street parking leave St George lenses yellowed and hazy, and the hill streets down to the terminal are poorly lit. We wet-sand the oxidation off, polish the lens back to genuine clarity and seal it under a UV coating so it stays clear rather than clouding again in a season.
Between the ferry traffic and the hillside streets, St. George is a poor place to go hunting for a car wash. Our mobile car wash comes to the driveway or the lot and works on whatever slope the space sits on, arriving as a mobile car washing service with its own water and power. Grit and brine run downhill and collect in the wells, so an at-home car wash flushes those first, then hand washes the paint and rinses until it dries clear. Carpets and mats are hot-water extracted under the car shampoo service, and a car seat shampoo clears salt from the seats. Engine bay detailing can be added while we are there.
