Mobile detailing in The Hamptons

About The Hamptons

Xentra Auto brings full-service mobile detailing to The Hamptons — we come to you, so there’s no shop drop-off and no waiting room. The Hamptons cover the whole East End — Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, and out to Montauk. The summer brings the metro's most serious car collection out to the estate driveways off Further Lane, Gin Lane, and Lily Pond, and we bring concierge-grade mobile service to wherever the car is staying.

Beach exposure is the defining threat: salt air, ocean humidity, and windblown sand work on paint and glass relentlessly, and sand is abrasive if it's wiped instead of lifted. Many of these are seasonal cars that sit in the city most of the year and need correct prep at both ends of the season.

Our East End work is heavily ceramic coating, full-body and front-end PPF on exotics, and careful correction on hand-built paint — plus seasonal storage prep. We work on-site at the house with our own water, power, and LED inspection lighting.

What blown sand does to a Hamptons car

The Hamptons has its own way of beating up a car. We've seen all of it.

🏖️

Salt air & ocean sand

The East End's beachfront exposure means salt air, humidity, and windblown sand on every surface. Sand is abrasive — we lift it with a proper wash rather than grinding it in, then coat against the salt.

🏎️

Seasonal exotics

A lot of Hamptons cars are summer-only exotics that winter in the city. We prep them coming out and going back — decontamination, PPF, ceramic, and storage care so they stay flawless.

☀️

Open-sky UV

Long days of direct sun on open driveways bake unprotected clear coat and fade trim. A ceramic coat with real UV resistance keeps the finish from going flat over a season.

The work a Hamptons season actually needs

Real products, real techniques — and the mix that actually comes up around here.

What we actually do in The Hamptons is shaped by what's parked here and what the street does to it. The East End's beachfront exposure means salt air, humidity, and windblown sand on every surface. Sand is abrasive — we lift it with a proper wash rather than grinding it in, then coat against the salt.

Ceramic coating is the most-requested job around Montauk Highway — owners here protect six-figure paint with Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Gyeon Mohs+, registered and warrantied in their name.

Paint correction matters more on the cars parked here. Soft European clear coats from Porsche, Ferrari, and Bentley get LED-inspected and test-spotted before we touch a polisher.

Full PPF goes on a lot of the front-ends in The Hamptons — XPEL and SunTek film over hoods and bumpers so salt air & ocean sand never reaches the paint.

The full menu — all 27 services — is available curbside or in your garage near Montauk Highway.

What the Hamptons keeps for the season

Hamptons cars are seasonal, exposed, and often sitting when nobody is watching.

💎

Summer-season exotics

Cars that arrive in May and leave in September, parked under open sky with ocean salt in the air. They want protection on arrival and proper prep before they go back, not a wash in between.

Sand-carrying dailies

Beach sand gets into carpets, seat rails and the boot, and it is abrasive enough to scratch paint if wiped off dry. Extraction inside, heavy lubrication outside.

🏎️

Stored winter cars

Vehicles left from October to April in unheated barns and garages. Damp, flat spots and stale cabins are the reality, and the work is preparation and revival rather than routine washing.

The Hamptons clients work with IDA Certified, Gtechniq Accredited, and Gyeon Certified techs. Standard of care doesn't change with the vehicle.

Mobile Car Wash & At-Home Detailing in the Hamptons

Not every visit is a full correction. Our mobile car wash comes to the property in the Hamptons as a fully self-contained mobile car washing service, carrying its own water and power to wherever the car is kept. An at-home car wash here starts with a heavy pre-rinse, because blown sand has to be floated off rather than dragged across the paint, then two-bucket and spot-free. Our car shampoo service hot-water extracts the carpets, and a focused car seat shampoo pulls sand out of the backing. Engine bay detailing is available on seasonal cars before lay-up.

FAQ

Yes, seasonally and year-round. We reach properties from Southampton through East Hampton and Montauk, and we can work at a barn or down a long drive with nothing supplied on site.
Most Hamptons work is on private property, but roadside is fine too. Everything travels with us, so a car kept at a barn or down a long drive is no obstacle.
The East End's beachfront exposure means salt air, humidity, and windblown sand on every surface. Sand is abrasive — we lift it with a proper wash rather than grinding it in, then coat against the salt. That's exactly the kind of thing a regular wash leaves behind and we remove.
A full interior + exterior detail runs 3 to 4 hours. Ceramic coating is a full day because the prep matters more than the spray-on. We give you a time window when we confirm the quote.
Exterior detail starts at $250. Full detail starts at $350. Ceramic coating starts at $599. Final price depends on car size and how rough the paint is. We give a fixed number on the phone — no surprises.
Most weekdays, yes. Saturday and Sunday usually book a day or two out. Call by 10am and we can usually fit you in that day.
All the time. Soft single-stage Tesla paint needs a lighter touch — we use specific compounds and pads for that. Same for the Alcantara trim on Model 3 and Y interiors.
Cash, card, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp. Whatever's easiest. Invoice on completion.
